Innovative Technology Development for Cancer Research Program: On October 27, 2009 the U.S. Department of Heath and Human Services National Institutes of Health announced the availability of funding for the Innovative Technology Development for Cancer Research Program (Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance number 93.393). The purpose of this program is to provide innovative feasibility studies focused on early stage development of cancer-relevant technologies. If successful, these technologies would accelerate the research and understanding of basic cancer biology, cancer treatment and diagnosis, cancer prevention, cancer control and epidemiology, and/or cancer health disparities. The application deadline is February 23, 2010Eligible applicants include state and local governments, institutions of higher education and other nonprofit organizations.
